Title: ACCOUNTANT (or Senior Accountant)

Department: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE (Finance)

Location: Laurelton, NY (On-Site)

Salary Range: $65k to $85k annual (depending on experience)

This is a fulltime, on-site exempt salaried position. SALARY RANGE IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE LEVEL! Bilingual Chinese speaking is a PLUS!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for customer aging analysis, preparation of aging analysis table, according to each aging balance and combined with individual identification method to make provision for bad debts.
  • Responsible for customer reconciliation: cooperate with the sales department to take the customer's side, send letters, faxes, telephones, etc., to reconcile the customer balance, and find out the reasons when the balance is inconsistent, adjust the difference, and keep the balance of both parties consistent.
  • Responsible for AR/debt collection and credit controls.
  • Responsible for processing and issuing customer credits (returns, discounts and etc.) and corresponding reconciliation.
  • Responsible for the summary analysis and comprehensive analysis of accounts receivable, and the preparation of comprehensive analysis table, summary analysis table, key customer tracking table, recovery rate and turnover rate trend chart, etc.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by Manager, Controller, CFO in a timely manner.
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree ((MS Accounting preferred) with at least 1 to 3 years experience in Accounts Receivable.
  • Excellent communication skills, team player.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
